Richard Kolarik has been designing and building cabinets and custom woodwork for over 30 years with 29 years experience in the greater Los Angeles area alone. He graduated from the New York State University of New Paltz and has been a licensed California contractor since 1984.

There truly is no style, type or fashion that evades his expertise. Built on a philosophy of Functional Art where aesthetics meet Real World workability, his goal is to create cabinets and trim work that conform seamlessly to the style and architecture of your home or commercial business. Be it craftsman, bungalow, rambler or classic revival types, Richard has done it. No job is too big or too small and no problem too insignificant.

As an avid reader and enthusiast of architectural design Richard keeps himself on the vanguard of new and emerging styles as well as the classics. He is the type who can spend hours in a Frank Lloyd Wright showroom and never get bored. A late night of rendering design plans is a night well spent.

Richard has been a contributor and preferred subcontractor for the prestigious Pasadena Showcase House of Design for the past 14 years and as recently as 2013, worked on Cal Tech as well as the Mayor of Los Angeles’ official residence.
